Sorina Uleia is a passionate Blue Economy advocate dedicated to tackling marine plastic pollution through technology and community-driven action. With over 20 years of experience in sustainability and business development, she has expertise in leveraging innovation and emerging technologies to address global challenges. She holds board advisory roles in key EU impact projects: SYMBA (which aims to develop and implement an innovative Industrial Symbiosis methodology across the EU), and the TULIP (focused on the interactions between climate change and plastic pollution in aquatic environments). In 2025, she was selected in the EIC Women Leadership Programme and was recognized among the 10 Female Ocean Champions at the WIN-BIG Sea Basin Event in Rome.
