He is a world-renowned open water swimmer and endurance athlete.

In 2021 he earned the title of World Open Water Swimming Man. He holds the Guinness world record for the longest ice swim, completing 3.5 km in freezing conditions. He was the first Romanian swimmer to complete the Ice Mile in Antartica and the frosted triple crown of open water swimming. He was the first Romanian to complete the prestigious Oceans Seven challenge, which involves swimming across the world’s seven toughest channels, and the first Romanian to swim across the Catalina Channel and the Molokai Channel.

A true pioneer in his field, Paul has set new records and standards in endurance sports while insipiring countless individuals with his passion and unwavering determination.
