Entrepreneur in tech, Investor & Advisor, Cristi Movilă is a technology & commerce expert with over 18 years of experience in European markets.
As the Founder and CEO of OptiComm.AI Platform, President of FRED – Romanian Federation for Digital Economy (previously as ARMO – Romanian Online Stores Association) and investor in different technology & services companies, he is at the forefront of integrating AI and cutting-edge technologies into the Global Trade Market landscape, showcasing his commitment to innovation and strategic leadership.
With a solid foundation in Software Engineering, Cristi has been instrumental in launching and managing successful online and omnichannel projects across Europe. In 2008 he had his first project in AI – Deep Learning and in 2018, he founded RELAMI, a technology company specialising in AI-based SaaS solutions for billion-dollar enterprises. His previous role as General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe & EMEA Sales Leader at VTEX saw him playing a key role to the company’s remarkable journey from Series C and D funding rounds to an IPO on the NYSE.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Cristi is an avid Rally Raid racing driver, holding the National Champion of Romania title for 2022 and 2023, with ambitions to participate in the DAKAR Rally soon. His passion for innovation and adventure reflects his forward-thinking approach in both technology and life.
