Mihaela Constantinescu is executive director of the Research Centre in Applied Ethics (CCEA) and lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, Romania. Her research was published in top academic journals covering topics on AI ethics, Human-Robot Interaction, virtue ethics, and business ethics. Mihaela is the winner of a European Research Council grant of 1,5 mil Euro for the project “Avatar agency. Moral responsibility at the intersection of individual, collective, and artificial social entities in emergent avatar communities” (avataResponsibility), which she implements between 2024-2028 together with her team at the Research Centre in Applied Ethics.
