Ionuț‑Valentin Sas is Senior Vice President, Finance at UiPath, a global leader in agentic automation. In this strategic leadership role, he oversees the company’s global functions of tax planning and compliance, statutory financial reporting, international regulatory compliance, and treasury management, and is a member of the global UiPath executive leadership team.

Since joining UiPath, Sas has combined deep financial expertise with the company’s mission to automate and scale business operations by playing a key role in various global initiatives involving the implementation of software automation in the areas of tax, payroll and equity. Together with his team, he ensures that the company’s financial operations take place within a robust governance and compliance framework, while fostering tech-driven innovation.

Before his current role, Sas built a strong foundation in tax advisory and corporate financial services during his over a decade-long tenure as Partner with PwC Romania. Based in Bucharest, Sas also plays a significant role beyond UiPath’s internal operations: he is Member of the Board of Directors of AmCham Romania. Ionuț is also a member of the Silicon Valley Tax Directors Group, one of the most reputable tax organisations globally. Its members represent the most prestigious software, innovation and technology corporations based in the United States.
