Maria-Alexandra Chivu is the Vice President of the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania since August 2023, overseeing strategic digitalization initiatives, including the expansion of the Ghiselul.ro platform. Under her leadership, the platform has reached over 2.4 million active users and integrated over 1,600 public institutions. With a background in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Brasov and a Master’s in Crisis Management, Alexandra has previously worked in various governmental roles, including the Romanian Senate and the European Parliament. She is dedicated to driving digital transformation in public services, aiming to simplify citizens’ access to government institutions.
