Tzvetanka Mintcheva is the CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank, Bulgaria’s largest financial institution. Her remarkable trajectory within the pan-European banking group began as a trainee in 2001, advancing through pivotal leadership roles including Head of Retail Division, Head of Global Banking Services, and Deputy CEO of UniCredit Bank Romania. Renowned for her strategic focus on innovation, she pioneered the transformation of alternative distribution channels and major operational overhauls across the region. Mintcheva holds an MBA in International Business from the MIB School of Management in Italy and actively shapes the regional business landscape as the Deputy Chairperson of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria and Chairperson of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria. Her exceptional leadership was prominently recognized in 2023, when she was named Bulgaria’s “Manager of the Year” and honored with the prestigious Burov Foundation Award for Banking Management.
