Raluca Micu has more than 15 years of experience in payments, regulation, and financial innovation. She held leadership roles at the National Bank of Romania (BNR), where she contributed to payment regulation, risk management, fintech innovation initiatives, and aligning the Romanian payments ecosystem with European payment frameworks. She develop and managed the first dialog instrument between the central bank and fintechs, the Fintech Innovation Hub.

Before joining NETOPIA, Raluca also served as Deputy CEO of Token Financial Technologies, where she contributed to the company’s European expansion strategy, including passporting its payment institution license across the EU. She played a key role in developing the company’s offline payments strategy and positioning POS infrastructure as a financial hub for SMEs, enabling value-added financial and payment services for merchants.
