Jelisaveta Lazarevic is an Associate Professor of Financial Markets and Innovation Strategy and Vice Dean at the FEFA Faculty in Belgrade. In addition to her academic role, she is a co-founder of the SEEUp Accelerator, a program that supports startups, mainly in FinTech sectors across Southeast Europe, in overcoming market entry challenges through structured tools, mentorship, and access to a strong professional network.
Jelisaveta also serves as the Chief Content Officer at Bloomberg Adria, where she leads the development and execution of the content strategy across digital platforms, television, print, analytics, and events in five markets: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and North Macedonia. In addition to high-quality news and interviews with subject matter experts, she has, together with her team, spearheaded the launch of Bloomberg Adria Expert—a key platform segment featuring educational content, in-depth analyses, explainers, and webinars designed to support users in their wealth management and financial decision-making.
Throughout her career, she has received several international recognitions, including her selection by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs as one of the Future Leaders of Europe. She has participated in prestigious leadership programs such as the Open World Leadership Program, funded by the U.S. Congress. In addition, she was awarded two Campus France scholarships for research on the commercialization of scientific innovation and academia–industry collaboration, conducted at the University of Lille, FEMTO-ST Institute, and INRIA.
Jelisaveta’s academic work includes research projects aimed at enhancing economic competitiveness, particularly through the study of “hidden champions.” In the field of Innovation and Business, in which she also earned her PhD, she further developed her expertise through the MIT program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. To date, she has published 15 scientific papers in international journals.
