George Cristian- Tuță served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies and as Quaestor of the Chamber of Deputies from December 2020 until 2024. Before entering Parliament, he worked as a company director and held several public sector roles, including assistant at the European Parliament, advisor to the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies and to a minister, and specialist in European funding at the National Road Infrastructure Company of Romania. Since October 2024, he has served as Mayor of Bucharest’s Sector 1, overseeing local administration, public services, infrastructure, and urban development. George holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Management from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) and completed a postgraduate program at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute.
