Mihai Melinescu is a journalist, foreign affairs analyst and experienced television host with more than two decades of experience in broadcasting, live events and international communication. A senior journalist with Romanian Public Television (TVR) since 2003, he has hosted news programmes, interviews and major live broadcasts, including TVR’s 10-hour coverage of four US presidential elections, where he served as correspondent, analyst and anchor. His career also includes reporting from Washington, producing and presenting interview programmes, and working in partnership with Euronews and CNN World Report.

Mihai has extensive international and public-service experience, having had postings with Romania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bucharest and at the Romanian Embassy in Lisbon. His background combines journalism, diplomacy, public speaking and cultural communication. He brings to the stage the confidence of a live broadcaster, the perspective of a foreign affairs analyst and the ability to connect complex subjects with diverse audiences.
