Dave is the Managing Director and consultant with Fuel For Thought Consulting, helping clients develop transformational field organizational leaders and integrated high performing teams, build improved business and sales strategies, and thrive in fast changing environments whilst creating a mentoring and coaching culture. With a strong track record and drawing upon his own experience and belief that mobilizing commitment in people is the foundation of sustained success, Dave is experienced in defining and executing strategies to improve business and leadership performance, and coaching individuals and teams to high performance.

With over 25 years’ experience in IT Industry across in sales, marketing, technical and consulting roles, Dave has been both contributor, operator and executive leader driving organisations through change to achieve exceptional results.

As Vice President for Western Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa at cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks – Dave lead the hypergrowth and development of the business nearly tripling its size in 3 years and developing key operational capability to win in large government and enterprises. His prior role as Vice President Northern EMEA at NetApp was where Dave developed many of his softer business leadership skills leading teams through dramatic market change and reorganization, whilst also achieving top line results, improved profitability, and maintaining top 10 rankings in Great Place to Work. Dave holds a Masters in Electronic Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, and subsequent certifications in IT Training, Six Sigma Business Transformation, Facilitation and Change Management.

Dave is also a partner a healthcare startup working in neurological health (focused on Alzheimer’s and autism), a board observer to WEF Foundation iamtheCODE working to bring STEAMD education to marginalized girls in Africa and around the world, and a personal coach and mentor.
